David RoseBoard of Assessment AppealsHi, my name is David Rose and I am running to continue my service to the town on the Board of Assessment Appeals. We have lived in Hebron since 1999, and moved to town for the quality of life and the excellent school system. Our son attended RHAM and then UCONN, and our daughter attended UCONN and then returned to teach at Gilead Hill. I, along with my wife Mary, have been a member of the Hebron Democratic Town Committee for over 10 years, and am on the grant-making Hartford Foundation Hebron Greater Together Community Fund committee which has funded over 20 community projects over the last couple of years. I created, and donated to the town of Hebron, the ongoing Paths and Trails online map resource at hebronpaths.org to help people discover and enjoy the public open-space our town has been blessed with through the foresight of our fellow citizens. I have had a long international business career, first in engineering and medical device manufacture and lately in Internet application software development. This has brought me into contact and productive working relationships with many different people since leaving the University of Wisconsin and then the University of London. That experience has been useful in giving a fair hearing to people appealing their Assessments. I am counting on your support to return me to my current position and to support my fellow Democrats as we all work together to make Hebron an even better place to live for all. |
