Ryan HerrickBoard of FinanceWhen my wife and I moved to Hebron in 2012, we quickly came to appreciate the strong sense of community and the incredible people who make this town so special. We are proud to be raising our two children here and are strong supporters of our fantastic school system. I have always been an active volunteer and currently serve on the charity board, WZ Gives, for my employer, Wireless Zone. In this capacity I have been able to award multiple grants to such local organizations as AHM, HIHS, the Hebron PTA and RHAM Youth Lacrosse. I also volunteer as a Hebron youth sports coach and have enjoyed meeting so many wonderful Hebron families. As I considered how I could get further involved in supporting our Town, I had the chance to talk to several of our current and past town leaders about serving on a Town board. I was excited when there was an opportunity to run for a position on the Board of Finance. I believe my business experience, as a Executive Franchise Director at Wireless Zone, my experience with budgeting and strategic planning, along with a commitment to transparency, provide the foundation for being a valuable asset to the Board of Finance. If elected, I would welcome the chance to represent all town residents as we work diligently to balance fiscal restraint without compromising what makes our community so special. I am proud to be a resident of town, to be a husband and father of two wonderful children, a “dog dad” to a still feisty 16-year-old rescue and an Army veteran. I would also be proud to represent you on Hebron’s Board of Finance. |
