Currently serving as the Vice Chair of the Hebron Planning and Zoning Commission, David has played a pivotal role over the past four years in amending zoning regulations to streamline permit processes and remove barriers to both economic development and affordable housing. He was also instrumental in developing the reasons for denying approval of the DG Market proposal in the heart of our town center, ensuring that decisions align with Hebron’s long-term goals. A strong advocate for his community, David feels privileged to have raised a family in Hebron and is deeply involved in town affairs. He is an active member of the Democratic Town Committee and the Hebron Coalition for Diversity and Equity. His past volunteer roles include serving on the Hebron Greater Together Community Fund Advisory Committee, the Gilead and Hebron Elementary Schools Building Committee, and as Assistant Scoutmaster for Hebron Troop 28. Additionally, David has provided pro bono landscape architectural work for the Town Center Project, contributing to the town’s aesthetic and functional development. With over 46 years of experience in urban planning and community development, David is a nationally certified urban planner and a licensed Landscape Architect in the State of Connecticut.
