Jessica HallRHAM Board of EducationJessica and her family made Amston their home in October 2020. Jessica admires the strong sense of community evident in Hebron. She believes that neighbors helping neighbors is a powerful theme of this remarkable town. Jessica’s children both attended RHAM Middle School and currently attend RHAM High School. Their educational experiences have been overwhelmingly positive, and Jessica deeply appreciates the dedication and professionalism of the staff members who have supported her children. Professionally, Jessica has been a proud public school teacher since 1998. She has spent 26 years teaching first grade in the nearby town of Columbia. She has served as Treasurer on the executive board of her teacher’s union since 2021. As part of that role, she has attended monthly Board of Education meetings in her teaching district. She received the honor of being selected as Columbia’s Teacher of the Year in 2015. In addition, Jessica has served as PTO Secretary and has actively volunteered for a wide range of events. Jessica is interested in joining the RHAM Board of Education to advocate for high-quality, equitable education for all students in the district. She believes in informed decision-making, responsible budgeting, and strong collaboration between parents, educators, and staff. Her goal is to support policies that prioritize student achievement, emotional well-being, and career and college readiness, while ensuring the district remains safe, inclusive, and well-resourced. Jessica is excited to serve and support the Hebron community as a dedicated member of the RHAM Board of Education. |
