Francesca Villani Town ClerkMeet Francesca Villani – Your Town Clerk A Dedicated and Trusted Neighbor, Fran has called Hebron home for over 30 years. After being born and educated in New York and practicing law as a real estate title attorney, Fran and her husband chose Hebron in 1994 as the ideal place to raise their family. She devoted her early years here to being a full-time mom, active school volunteer, and committed community member. In 2010, Fran reentered the workforce with a renewed sense of purpose to public service. She joined the Windsor Town Clerk’s office in 2014 as Deputy Town Clerk. During her time in Windsor Fran earned certification from both the State of Connecticut and the International Institute of Municipal Clerks. In 2018 Fran sought and obtained the position of Assistant Town Clerk in Hebron. She was instrumental in the continuation of modernizing services, keeping operations running smoothly during the COVID- 19 pandemic, and ensuring residents stayed connected and supported. When the longtime and much-loved Town Clerk Carla Pomprowicz retired, Fran was appointed to carry that legacy forward. As Town Clerk, she has led with experience, energy, and a deep respect for the community. Her focus has been on improving access, increasing accessibility, and delivering excellent service to every resident. Under her stewardship, the office launched convenient tools like online dog licensing and a Fraud Alert system to help protect property owners. Fran believes that public service begins with a smile, a listening ear, and a willingness to help. She brings that same spirit to work every day—because for her, Hebron isn’t just where she works, it’s home. Now, Fran is running for municipal office to continue serving the town she loves bringing experience you can trust, a voice you can count on, and a neighborly heart that’s always open to hearing yours. |
