Eleisha LeMayHebron Board of EducationMy name is Eleisha LeMay, and I am proud to be on the Hebron Board of Education. When we moved to Hebron in 2017, my husband Jeff and I immediately felt at home and knew that this was the place to raise our children. You may have met our kids around town- Maisey has been a Girl Scout and member of the school band, and Jake has been actively involved in Scouts and youth sports. As a family, we believe in community involvement and advocacy and I am excited to bring those skills to the Hebron Board of Education. I am a school administrator with almost twenty years experience in education, both in and out of the classroom. I bring knowledge of school policy and procedure and awareness of the realities of the post-pandemic classroom. I recognize that the needs of our students and school staff are greater than ever, and that we must commit to providing rich programming and services for all students. To achieve this, we must recruit and retain highly-qualified educators and show them that they have the support of our community. It is imperative that our schools remain places where students feel safe, are actively engaged, and are challenged to be the best versions of themselves. As a member of the Hebron Board of Education, I will work to ensure that parents have a voice and that our schools have the support they need to help our children grow. |
